Our Wavebreakers have been designed to break waves from water skiers and Wakeboarders. These have a height of approx 15cm and a distinguished length. Bigger waves from for instance waterski- or wakeboard boats are too big and have too much momentum and will lift the wavebreakers up.
Windswell produces larger and longer waves than water skiers and wakeboarders. As a result, our wavebreakers cannot provide the desired flat water conditions on days with strong winds.
One large anchor at the front and back to tension the chain. Then every 5th wavebreaker, one anchor inside and outside to align.
Approximately 100kg per wave breaker. The fill line on the side shows you when there is enough weight in the wavebreaker.
For filling, we recommend using the topsoil from your lake area, as this is very easy to move, saves costs and thus also adapts to the ecological environment. However, all types of earth, sand and similar materials can of course also be used here.
Plants are not a must, but provide extra wind protection. We always recommend using the same flora that already grows in the area, so you have a better chance of everything working out.
To calculate the approximate amount, divide the cable car length by 4.75. For example, if your cable is 950m long, you will need about 200 wavebreakers.

The transport company will deliver your wavebreakers to your wakepark, where you will need a forklift for unloading the parts.
